Canon DSLR EOS-1D X in March 2012


As expected, Canon has introduced a professional digital SLR camera EOS-1D X. This new gadget has become the flagship of their range of digital SLR cameras from Canon, the opening of the tenth generation of EOS. According to the manufacturer, the device supports video shooting in Full HD 1080p "meet the needs of almost any professional photographer."


EOS-1D model X replaces the EOS-1D Mark IV and EOS-1Ds Mark III cameras. It is based on full-frame CMOS image sensor 18.1 MP resolution, equipped with a cleaning system ultrasonic dust. Image processing is done by two new DIGIC processor 5. Each of these is an improved version of DIGIC 5, which can already be found in other Canon cameras.

ISO sensitivity range is limited to values ​​of 100 to 51 200 (upper limit extended - H: 204 800). The camera has an automatic system for further discussion with 61 AF points. They also developed new predefined autofocus system especially for objects and scenes shooting complex. EOS-1D X provides continuous shooting up to 12 frames per second, which can be increased to 14 frames per second, if you shoot in JPG format only. Other features include the camera sensor as RGB (100 000 pixels) with the DIGIC 4, Clear View LCD II 3.2 "screen (1040 thousands of pixels) and a Gigabit Ethernet port.


His body is made of magnesium alloy, protected from dust and moisture. As part of EOS series, this camera is compatible with the respective lenses, flashes and other accessories for EOS. Sales will begin next March. Approximate price of the new Canon EOS-1D X is $ 6800.
